The Filipino Balita

A news bulletin for philippine seafarers
Because of the large presence of philippine seafarers employed on board all around the world, we thought about creatig a news bulletin specific for these workers.
In the 2000, thanks to the job of F. Mario Cisotto (the port chaplain at that time), we published the Filippino Balita.
Every day our ship visitors distribute the bulletin on board of that ships that are moored in the Venice port. We also seend it by e-mail directly on board or to welfare maritime center that make the request for it, (actually we send it to 500 ships and to 150 centres worldwide).

The bulletin consist of four pages where are reported the most important news of the Philippines, there is a section with updated value currencies, another with sports news, and the last one with some suggestion for a christian catholic meditation.
